When we launched Linear Fox on December 31, 2022, we also embarked on several side projects. However, only a few of these survived past their initial release, including the Research application, which has remained with us as a unique yet challenging project.

Unfortunately, the development of the application has been slow. This is partly because it was never a top priority, and more urgent projects often took our focus away from it. However, we have now revisited it and started actively working on it again.

Currently, the application is still in its early stages, so we cannot promise an exact release date. These days, it’s challenging to find an idea that truly stands out in the market. That’s why we’ve decided not to rush development.

When the time comes, we will finalize the Research application. Until then, we are patiently waiting to deliver a well-refined and competitive solution.

• LaTeX Integration: A built-in LaTeX editor for creating and editing scientific documents directly within the application, ensuring smooth formatting for equations, references, and academic papers.


• DNA/RNA Sequence Viewer: A dedicated tool for visualizing and analyzing DNA and RNA sequences, enabling researchers in biology to explore, edit, and compare genetic data easily.


• Collaboration Tools: Real-time collaboration features allowing researchers to co-author documents, provide feedback, and track revisions seamlessly.


• Offline Access: Download research papers and access them offline, ensuring uninterrupted productivity.

By the end of 2024-2025, likely around December or February, we aim to provide an update on research.linearfox.com, where we update the website, along with more detailed information about its features and progress.
